Mary Printz

For over 35 years, I have worked at the intersection of learning, leadership, and human development. My work has included serving as an educator, Alberta Education consultant, and school principal for more than two decades, while also building a consulting business. Today, I coach and advise leaders in high-performance roles.

I work with capable, thoughtful professionals who care deeply about their work and the people they serve. As expectations expand, the habits that once drove success can begin to create strain.

My focus is the human side of leadership, how we think, decide, and relate when the stakes rise. I partner with leaders across business, healthcare, and education, including executives, founders, and physicians, who are seeking sustainable growth that sharpens strategic thinking, strengthens grounded authority, and builds resilience.

Across sectors, I see a consistent pattern. Strengths can become constraints. Over functioning, perfectionism, excessive self reliance, and conflict avoidance often begin as assets. Over time, they limit clarity and effectiveness. Through structured developmental work, we expand the internal capacity required to lead with steadiness, discernment, and sound judgment.

My approach is grounded in adult developmental theory, Immunity to Change methodology through Harvard’s Minds at Work, emotional intelligence research, neuroscience, and trauma informed practice. I hold a Master’s degree in Leadership and integrate frameworks that are rigorous, practical, and measurable.

Clients describe my presence as calm and precise. They feel understood and intellectually challenged, supported without being rescued, stretched without being overwhelmed. The outcome is expanded capacity: clearer decisions, stronger boundaries, grounded authority, and sustained effectiveness.

At its core, this work strengthens the internal architecture required to lead with clarity, composure, and integrity so leadership becomes intentional, steady, and sustainable.
